This piece of the Growth Plan to Half a Million involves developing an Active Transportation Plan to help provide more choices for moving around Saskatoon by addressing our community and infrastructure needs for cycling, walking and other modes of active transportation.

Thank You!

Thank you to everyone that completed the online survey for the last Active Transportation Plan! The online survey is now closed. We received nearly 1,300 responses to the survey, and this input will be used to help develop the final Active Transportation Plan, including an implementation plan with short-, medium- and long-term priorities.

ATP Online Survey | Have Your Say!

Let’s Walk & Roll, Saskatoon!

The development of Saskatoon’s first Active Transportation Plan (ATP) is well underway! Since Spring 2015, thousands of residents have helped create a draft plan that will shape improvements to walking, biking and other forms of active transportation in Saskatoon over the next 30 to 40 years.

Now we want your feedback on how the active transportation network and support programs should be improved in the short-, medium- and long-term.

Thank You!

Thank you to everyone that participated in second round of public engagement for the Active Transportation Plan! From September to December, we heard from hundreds of Saskatonians, including:

  • Over 50 attendees at the second Active Transportation Plan Stakeholder Workshop in October
  • 100 participants at the come-and-go public events in November
  • Over 260 survey responses to the draft Plan
  • Over 250 responses to our three Questions of the Month
  • Direct engagement with various groups, including: community associations, business associations, post-secondary students and staff, school-aged youth and educators and councillors and City of Saskatoon staff across departments.

Your feedback will help to shape improvements to active transportation in Saskatoon. Specifically, the input we received will be used to help refine and finalize the long-term Plan. Moving forward, an implementation plan will be developed with short-, medium- and long-term priorities. A summary of what we heard during the second round of public engagement for the Active Transportation Plan can be found here. In the new year, we will be back for the final round of engagement, focusing on identifying implementation priorities, through an online survey.
